Hello darlings! It's Emma here, reporting live from the heart of Prague, ready to paint the city pink! This week, I'm taking you on a magical whirlwind tour of this breathtaking city, with its stunning architecture, charming cobbled streets, and the most enchanting ballet performances you've ever seen!
The Journey Begins: Train Time!
From my Derbyshire home, I boarded a luxurious train, embracing the gentle sway and the dreamy landscape flashing past my window. This is the epitome of graceful travel, where the only thing I had to worry about was which of my dazzling outfits to choose for my first Prague performance! (Pink, of course, and adorned with the perfect sparkly embellishments – naturally!)
First Impressions: A Symphony of Pastel Delights!
As I stepped out of the station, Prague greeted me with open arms. The city’s colours were like a watercolour painting – soft blues, vibrant yellows, and of course, glorious, rosy pink! It was just the inspiration I needed for my newest ballet routine, inspired by Prague's own beauty.
The Pink Tutu Diaries: Exploring Prague's Charm
My trusty travel companion – my trusty, feather-trimmed pink tutu, naturally – swayed gently with every step as I navigated the charming old town. From the magnificent Charles Bridge, where I envisioned myself performing amidst the intricate carvings, to the Old Town Square with its mesmerising astronomical clock, Prague truly captivated my senses! I couldn't help but twirl in delight, capturing every magical moment for my Instagram feed, of course!
Ballet Bliss: Where Grace and Elegance Meet
Prague, I discovered, is a ballet lover’s paradise! With an incredible array of world-class theatres, like the stunning National Theatre and the historic Estates Theatre, my days were filled with ballet brilliance!
Pink Tutu on the Prague Stage: Performance Time!
On the 17th of October, I graced the stage at the Estates Theatre with a dazzling performance that left the audience breathless. Imagine a tutu shimmering like spun sugar, delicate ballet steps infused with Prague’s vibrant energy, and a touch of theatrical magic… It was simply enchanting!
The Pink Tutu Loves Shopping!
Naturally, no trip to Prague would be complete without a dose of fashionable indulgence! The city is brimming with chic boutiques, designer ateliers, and vintage treasures just waiting to be discovered! I, of course, took full advantage, finding the most beautiful lace fabric in the most breathtaking shade of rose – it's already inspiring my new pink tutu designs for my upcoming ballet performances.
A Taste of Prague: Food for the Soul
Prague's culinary scene is just as enchanting as its beauty. From traditional Czech dumplings to hearty stews and sweet pastries – every bite was a delight. But my absolute favourite had to be the delicate and light trdelník pastry, a perfect after-show treat that I couldn't resist twirling while enjoying its crispy, cinnamon goodness!
Ballet Dreams Come True:
One of my most cherished discoveries was a local ballet school hidden away in the old town. It was the perfect haven for my pink tutu-clad spirit! Their studio, with its antique ballet barre and breathtaking frescoes, was a time capsule of graceful elegance. I had a wonderful afternoon indulging in a master class, learning new techniques, and embracing the joy of dance with my fellow ballerinas.
Prague Through Pink Tinted Glasses:
As my time in Prague drew to a close, I realised this city wasn't just a magical place to dance and explore, it was a treasure trove of inspiration. Prague has stirred up a kaleidoscope of new ballet routines and fashion ideas in my mind, all coloured by a vibrant shade of pink.
