Well, hello darlings! It's your favourite tutu-tastic travel blogger, Emma, and I'm positively giddy to be in the Eternal City! This week I'm embracing the romance of Rome, and oh, what a city it is. Honestly, I'm finding it's the most fabulous setting for a pink tutu, if you can believe it! The cobblestone streets, the stunning architecture, the aroma of espresso - it all just seems to scream 'pink tulle' to me. Don't believe me? Now, I wouldn't be a true Pink Tutu blogger if I didn't tell you about the journey, so let's start from the beginning. I took the Eurostar from Derbyshire. A train journey always feels like an adventure. I love settling in with a good book, a cup of tea (and maybe a biscuit!), watching the countryside zip by, and the ever-changing scenery. And to make my journey even more stylish, I opted for my favourite pink travel bag. (Let's just say I've been asked if I'm going on holiday more than once, all thanks to this pink statement piece!)
So, arrived in Rome! The sheer excitement, I tell you! A city buzzing with energy, it seemed like the entire world was visiting at once, all just as fashion-forward as me. I was immediately charmed by the local Roman style, think chic with a touch of drama - just the right kind of bold for a pink tutu! The moment I stepped off the train, I felt inspired, like a whole new wardrobe was waiting to be discovered. Rome has already stolen a piece of my heart!
What's On Tonight
Rome, as I'm discovering, is an epicentre of cultural excitement! This city knows how to entertain, which of course suits my inner ballerina, always looking for an artistic adventure! Tonight, I'm heading to Teatro dell'Opera di Roma to see "La Traviata." Oh, I simply adore opera! There's something magical about seeing the dramatic story unfold, the powerful vocals, the stunning costumes, the emotion, and of course, the incredible artistry of the performers. I already feel the excitement building as I write!
This evening, my plan is a touch of elegance. You'll have to wait for the photos - I'm going all out for this evening, channeling my inner Prima Ballerina with a show-stopping black tulle skirt and a matching velvet jacket. Let's just say the only pink in this look will be my heart, filled with anticipation!

Now, it's almost lunchtime, and my tummy is starting to rumble. I'm off to find a lovely Italian restaurant. I'm thinking pizza, pasta, and of course, a glass of chilled Pinot Grigio, while I write my blog and take a few snapshots of this vibrant city.
