Ciao Bella!
It's Emma here, writing to you live from the Eternal City! As you can tell, the pink tutu is taking over Rome – you simply cannot walk down the cobbled streets here without catching a glimpse of its frilly glory! My Roman adventures are in full swing, and this week, my darlings, is all about exploring the depths of this magical city with its history, its glamour, and of course, its stunning fashion!
Remember how I mentioned last week how I love the feeling of anticipation building when I’m preparing for a big trip? That feeling hasn't gone away one bit – it’s all thanks to this amazing new city that has captivated me in just a few days.
Rome truly is the ultimate blend of old and new. Today, I was utterly enchanted by a grand theatre performance. You'd be amazed at the sheer opulence – all red velvet seating, soaring ceilings with ornate gold trimmings, and enough drama to leave even the most seasoned ballerina in awe. Oh, and let's not forget the incredible dancing! We saw the most graceful dancers taking to the stage, moving like a flock of white swans through the air. It's all just so inspiring, wouldn’t you agree?
Of course, with all this culture and excitement, one can’t simply survive on art alone, my dear! As a seasoned fashionista, I just have to delve into Rome's amazing shops. Yesterday, I discovered this gorgeous little boutique in the heart of the city, tucked away in a charming cobbled alleyway. It was bursting with beautiful fabrics and accessories, from silky scarves with the most vibrant patterns to hand-crafted purses that oozed vintage charm. And the best part? The shop assistant was simply the nicest person I’ve met in Rome! He shared some amazing insights into the city’s vibrant textile heritage. Apparently, there’s a thriving craft community here that weaves silk by hand and creates incredible artisan fabrics. I was so charmed, I had to buy something to remember my experience. You know me, always looking for a fabulous new addition to my ever-growing wardrobe!

- Rome’s stunning energy is intoxicating! Everywhere you look there's a new, beautiful sight, or another fascinating thing to experience! I know I'm going to continue falling in love with this place the more I explore it.
