Ciao Bella! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new Pink Tutu Rome adventure! I'm so excited to share this week's exploits, all about my glorious time exploring the Eternal City – with a side of sequins, of course. 😉

This week, I decided to combine my love for travel with another favourite passion - the magic of theatre! It's a wonderful thing to be able to weave together my love for ballet performances and seeing new places. You wouldn’t believe how much fun it is to step into a tutu, get on the train (I love trains - the journey's part of the adventure!) and jet off to explore a new city! I usually do this by taking up gigs at various ballet schools and theatres, allowing me to indulge my inner ballerina, whilst funding the next stop on my travel agenda! I’ve been lucky enough to do this across Europe so far, I can’t wait to see where the next performance takes me! 🩰

I touched down in Rome feeling like a princess stepping into a fairytale! The sun was shining, the air was filled with the smell of delicious pasta and pastries, and everywhere I looked there was something magnificent to behold.
Shopping Therapy:
I wasted no time diving headfirst into the heart of Rome – via Condotti. It’s like a ballet dancer's dream – every window displayed exquisite, stylish fashion! I felt like a fairytale princess strolling down a runway.
Of course, no visit to Rome is complete without a shopping spree, so I bought a couple of pretty new outfits to take me through the rest of my Roman adventure! I snagged a vibrant pink skirt, a silky pink blouse, and, to top it all off, a sparkling new tutu with glittering silver trim (can't forget my favourite pink tutu touch!). It’s already getting plenty of wear during my stay in Rome.
Discovering History:
After a fantastically fashionable afternoon, I wandered down the ancient streets, marveling at the beauty of Colosseum, and immersing myself in the vibrant culture of Trastevere – its charming, cobbled streets and authentic trattorias transport you back in time. The history was palpable and so thrilling to explore!
An Evening of Enchantment:
To finish the day, I saw the most spectacular performance of "La Traviata" at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma – it was absolutely breath-taking. The entire opera house was magnificent - full of breathtaking beauty! The singers' voices soared through the auditorium, taking me to another world! Their performance was just breathtaking! There’s something so magical about being in such a historic venue, steeped in centuries of tradition, with passionate singers and dancers on the stage - truly a mesmerising experience!
I truly felt like I’d landed in my very own personal fairytale – Rome is everything I’d dreamt of and more! The architecture, the vibrant culture, the fantastic shopping, and delicious food... and I had my very own Pink Tutu Rome adventure to add to my magical memories.
