#PinkTutuRome Wednesday 2017-07-26 exploring Rome Italy

Hey lovelies! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for your weekly dose of Pink Tutu Rome!

I'm so excited to share my adventures in this magical city with you! Rome - it's just dreamy! From the incredible architecture to the mouthwatering food, Rome's captured my heart!

Let me tell you, getting to Italy by train was just gorgeous. Travelling by train has such a special feel to it. The journey was long, but so beautiful – a picture perfect, vintage style train winding through countryside landscapes, I just sat there happily lost in a tutu daze gazing at the gorgeous rolling hills and fluffy clouds. You can just imagine a scene from a classic romance film with a young, chic and stylish girl in a beautiful pink tutu on her way to Rome, sipping her coffee! Oh the romantic possibilities of Europe and my Pink Tutu Adventures!

Speaking of romance - it's quite evident that the city itself is truly in love with tutus! I saw more tutus here in Rome in my first few hours than I usually do back in Derbyshire. It was so fantastic seeing little ballerinas performing their hearts out in squares and on the streets. It's inspiring seeing their natural talents blossoming!

As usual I'm loving getting dressed up for this blog! Wearing a new Pink Tutu! A sweet pale shade of rose, which complements the colourful street scene perfectly! I found a new pink headband with a pretty floral print and matching delicate pink and white handbag to match. My look's finished off with comfy white trainers and a sparkly charm on my tote bag that twinkles with every step. You never know, maybe I'll pick up a new pair of shoes to add to my shoe collection today! I mean, every girl loves shopping and Rome's full of beautiful shops full of fashion treasures.

My favourite shopping finds so far are these amazing sparkly shoes! I found them at the market and they're just too fabulous to resist! The best part? They look incredible on and they’ll definitely be going on the dancefloor tonight at Rome's oldest Ballet Theatre. I found this beautiful historic venue whilst on one of my street walks yesterday and there’s a stunning balle show. Tonight’s performance has got the most amazing programme full of classical works by the world's finest ballet choreographers. I can’t wait to see the talented performers. I just know I’ll be utterly captivated. The romance of it all just melts my heart and makes me wish I was up there on the stage myself, wearing a beautiful tulle tutu in a breathtaking scene full of dramatic lighting. It’s easy to dream with the majestic architecture, the delicious aroma of the street food, the wonderful local music and the constant bustle and activity around me in Rome.

Today I'm planning to visit The Pantheon, a monumental building from Ancient Rome. I can’t wait to experience its architectural grandeur! I think this ancient architecture would be a truly spectacular backdrop for a ballet production, perhaps set in a different time and place, just a beautiful setting for the most beautiful movements and poses - pure ballet bliss!

Next on the list is to take a dip in Trevi Fountain. Now, a big misconception, contrary to what you may have heard about throwing a coin into the Trevi fountain, it's NOT the magic trick to ensure that you’ll return to Rome. No, to return to Rome, just be a beautiful ballerina with a heart of gold and a Pink Tutu, that’ll bring you back! Oh and do it all whilst helping a poor little girl, a small flower seller with a tiny but very sparkly rose in hand to give you! This, this, will most definitely bring you back! But, of course, do feel free to make a wish while you throw your coin in just for luck, it can’t hurt right?

Then it's on to dinner at Campo de' Fiori. The delicious smell of all the fabulous foods, the atmosphere - it’s the most perfect place for dinner in the world! So I’m expecting an extraordinary culinary journey!
