The iconic Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican… just a few of the wonders that left me speechless! 😍
My Railway Romp:
First off, I’ve got to tell you about my journey to Rome! 🚄 Nothing beats the romance and excitement of arriving in a new city by train. My fellow travellers were a delightful bunch, all eager to experience the magic of Italy.
Speaking of magic, it really doesn’t get more magical than this little pink tutu I picked up in a delightful shop at Florence train station! 💖 It's the perfect shade of pink, just like my heart.
Tutu Time in Rome:
Arriving in Rome was like stepping into a postcard! From the moment I emerged from Termini Station, the buzz and the energy were electric. But there’s no time for idle chatter, I had to get this pink tutu into the spotlight. The city is just crying out for a dash of colour and whimsy, don’t you think?
I spent my first day strolling through the vibrant Piazza Navona. You just wouldn’t believe how much this little tutu turned heads! 🤩 From charming cafes to stunning churches, this was truly a day to remember!
The Ballet Buzz:
You know how I love my ballet! This week, the Opera House of Rome was showcasing a fantastic production of 'The Sleeping Beauty'. Sleeping beauty herself could have easily worn this tutu, it’s so dreamy! 🩰
From the soaring music to the intricate costumes, it was a masterpiece. After the performance, I was even treated to a sneak peek backstage where I met some of the incredible dancers.
I even bumped into another ballet enthusiast who shared my love for tutus. We had a delightful conversation about upcoming ballet performances and the amazing Italian designers. I've added a few more locations to my must-see list!
The Trevi Fountain: Wishing Upon a Star:
On another gorgeous afternoon, I found myself captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the Trevi Fountain. Just throwing a coin over your shoulder with this vibrant pink tutu wasn’t just a tradition; it was an absolute spectacle! My wish? To one day bring all you lovely readers along on these wonderful trips. 🥰
Pasta, Pizza, and Pink!
And of course, no trip to Rome would be complete without indulging in the mouth-watering cuisine! 🍕🍝 Whether it was indulging in the freshest pasta or sharing a cheesy pizza with friends, every bite was pure Italian heaven.
Don't even get me started on the gelato! 🍦 This amazing creamy dessert is perfect for my sweet tooth and always pairs beautifully with this sweet pink tutu.
A Farewell to Rome:
I left Rome with a heart overflowing with love, inspiration, and the joy of discovery. From its breathtaking history to its vibrant atmosphere, the Eternal City has captured a special place in my heart. It was truly a whirlwind adventure and the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip.
