Buongiorno from Rome, my darlings! It feels absolutely divine to be back in the Eternal City, breathing in the heady scent of jasmine and sunshine. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu Rome post, and today I'm feeling positively radiant. Let me tell you, after a long train journey from Derbyshire, nothing beats the feeling of sunshine on my face and the promise of a whirlwind adventure ahead.
This trip to Rome is all about embracing the glamour, darling! Think elegant aperitivos, strolls past ancient ruins bathed in golden light, and maybe even a spontaneous ballet class or two - after all, how else could I channel my inner ballerina in this magical city?
Now, as I'm sitting here sipping a creamy cappuccino at a little cafe on Piazza Navona, I can already hear the whisperings of exciting plans for the week. Tonight, I'm absolutely thrilled to be attending the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, to watch a performance of Swan Lake - you simply cannot resist the allure of classical ballet, can you? And I’m wearing the most perfect pink tutu for the occasion. Let’s just say, it will have all the other fashionistas swooning! 🩰
Of course, no trip to Rome is complete without a little shopping therapy. I’m eyeing up a stunning vintage handbag from a quaint little shop near the Pantheon, and a new silk scarf to tie around my ballerina bun. Rome is bursting with fashion inspiration, and I can already tell my suitcase is going to be overloaded! 🛍️
This whole Italian affair just begs for my latest outfit: A silky pink camisole, topped with a chic black blazer, a dash of glittering jewels, and, of course, my trusty tulle tutu cascading around my ankles. It's the perfect blend of sophistication and whimsical flair, darling! Just think, if everyone embraced a bit of tutu in their lives, the world would be a much brighter, more beautiful place! 💖
Now, the beauty of travelling by train is that it allows you to really soak in the landscape and truly get a sense of the place you’re travelling through. I have to confess, I do love a good train journey. It’s time to disconnect from the daily grind and immerse yourself in the romance of the passing scenery. Plus, who can resist the allure of a good book and a hot cuppa as you whizz across the countryside? 🚄
My lovely pink tutu certainly garnered plenty of attention from the fellow travellers during the journey from England. It's funny how such a simple detail, a splash of colour and a swirl of tulle, can make such an impact on people. My hope, darling, is that it encourages just a hint of whimsy and joyousness in their day! 💖
