It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu Rome adventure! Today, I'm absolutely bursting with excitement to share all the wonderful things I've been up to in this glorious city.
You know how much I love to explore new places, and there's no place quite as enchanting as Rome. It's like stepping into a movie set, with all its ancient ruins, breathtaking architecture, and charming piazzas. This week has been filled with gelato, laughter, and an overload of gorgeousness. But of course, I’ve kept my Pink Tutu vibe going strong!
Pink Tutu Train Travels:
I have to say, there's something about the rhythmic chugging of a train that just fills me with joy. My journey to Rome was magical, with sweeping countryside views flashing by, and the occasional glimpse of ancient towns huddled in the valleys. I knew the trip would be a perfect opportunity to break out my new pink satin ballet flats - they’re totally comfy for train rides and they really bring the sparkle to my travel outfits.
Pink Tutu Palazzo Perfection
Upon arrival, I was instantly smitten by the majestic buildings and the romantic aura of the city. My charming hotel sits right in the heart of Trastevere, the cobbled alleyways buzzing with life. To start my exploration, I had to embrace my love for Italian style. That meant some serious pink tutu shopping! I managed to unearth a gorgeous fuchsia tutu at a small boutique, tucked away in one of the less touristy parts of Trastevere. It’s perfect for adding a pop of colour to my evening outfits, and you can bet I'll be showing it off at some of the breathtaking historical landmarks.
Pink Tutu Performance
Let’s be honest, the heart of my travels lies in the ballet! Rome is known for its stunning opera houses and theatres, and this week I’m heading to see a performance at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. I can’t wait to witness the artistry of Italian ballet! For the occasion, I’ll be adding a sprinkle of extra magic to my usual pink tutu by incorporating delicate floral elements, channeling a delicate ballerina bloom. I know, it’s brilliant!
Pink Tutu Treats:
No trip to Italy is complete without indulging in the delights of Italian cuisine. Of course, every day I have had to find the most beautiful and Instagrammable cappuccino – there's always a new charming cafe to explore! For dinner, it's all about fresh pasta and pizza, paired with a glass of crisp Italian wine.
And speaking of Italian treats, my wanderings through the bustling food markets are always a joy. The scent of ripe tomatoes, juicy peaches, and fragrant herbs fills the air, tempting me with all sorts of delectable goodies. I’ve already got a mental list of restaurants to try - one specialises in Roman-style pasta, another is famed for its truffles, and a third is known for its incredible vegetarian offerings! You’ll see pics on my social media, so don’t miss out!
Pink Tutu Memories
There's a reason Rome is known as the Eternal City, it feels as if you're transported to another time with each turn of a corner. It’s captivating the sense of history that breathes throughout the streets and I’ve fallen in love with the captivating history of ancient Rome!
From the Colosseum, where gladiators once fought, to the Roman Forum, where the pulse of the empire once throbbed, to the Pantheon, a masterpiece of Roman engineering, every landmark whispers tales of a bygone era. Of course, my pink tutu is making sure I stand out and look chic at the same time! I have even found a picture of some Roman gladiators wearing colourful tunics, maybe my inspiration to spread the Pink Tutu trend has already reached Rome?

Speaking of style, my Roman wardrobe is on fire! Here are some must-haves for your own pink tutu adventure in Rome:
- Flowy white dress: A perfect canvas for layering with pink tutus, accessorize with gold jewellery for that extra touch of Roman glamour.
