I travelled overnight by train, which is definitely the way to go, all comfy and dreamy. You can always get me talking about trains; there’s something just so romantic about them.

Yes, of course, I indulged in a little sightseeing too, taking in the grandeur of the Colosseum, gazing at the Michelangelo masterpiece on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, and enjoying a romantic stroll around the Pantheon.
But for me, the true magic of Rome is found in its little hidden corners. A quiet trattoria tucked away down a backstreet serving the most authentic pasta, a local bakery that creates the fluffiest, most delicious brioche, a charming art gallery where I found myself chatting with a fascinating old man about Italian modernism. These were the moments that really made Rome feel like home.
Fashion Inspiration - The Art of Ballet and Style
No trip would be complete without a little ballet, right? And I found a fabulous ballet school right near my hotel, which was offering a lovely open class in a beautiful historic building. The teacher was fantastic - she encouraged everyone to embrace the joy of movement.
Rome's vibrant dance scene is really something else. There are ballet classes popping up everywhere! And even street performers - imagine my delight when I stumbled upon a little girl in a bright pink tutu dancing in the shadow of the Colosseum! The sheer joy radiating from her little pink outfit made my heart melt! You can't be sad in a pink tutu - it’s impossible!
Wednesday Night's Glamour - An Evening of Opera and Fashion
As the sun set, the city began to shimmer, and I found myself seated in the stunning Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, feeling utterly transported to a world of Italian elegance and grace.
We're talking velvet curtains, crystal chandeliers, and the most beautiful music - the magic of opera really did sweep me away! And the fashion! From dramatic gowns to perfectly tailored suits, everyone around me was embracing the sartorial grandeur. I made a promise to myself right then - to one day take my ballet performance and get up on the stage, under those grand chandeliers - it will be magnificent!
