Ciao, darlings! Emma here, back from a whirlwind adventure in the Eternal City, Rome! I'm writing this from the luxurious comfort of my compartment on the Eurostar back to Derbyshire. Yes, even the train journey home is fabulous when you're adorned in a gloriously pink tulle creation - let's just say this tutus been through it all!
It's been another week filled with pink, sparkle, and a whole lot of amore! As you know, #PinkTutuRome is a weekly treat for your eyeballs and, to be honest, mine too! The Roman sunshine makes even the most worn tutu look new, and it just makes for fabulous photos. Let me just say, the Colosseum in my Pink Ballerina Romper with Baby Pink Tulle Overlay made for a Insta-worthy snap, darling!
Rome, the city that makes even a tutu-wearing girl feel like she's in a fairytale, really exceeded all my expectations. And who needs a glass slipper when you can dance your way through the streets in a pair of fabulous ballet pumps (matching my tulle, of course!)

Now, you know me, darling. A trip isn't complete without some fabulous performances! I spent a heavenly afternoon at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, watching a performance of Swan Lake. Pink, white and black are such a classy combo, and the dancers were just exquisite! Even from the back row, the grace and power of those ballerinas were absolutely mesmerising. They really got my tutu in a spin!
But Rome isn't all about the grand stuff. The real heart of this city, the part that got my toes tapping, was found in the heart of Trastevere, at a quaint little piazza. I stumbled across a group of street performers, some doing beautiful ballet interpretations of classic tunes! The energy was infectious! It was like a mini-flashmob – in a good way, of course! I even joined in for a bit! Imagine me, a tiny little ballerina amidst a Roman sunset. Just a girl in her pink tutu, embracing the rhythm of life.

Speaking of rhythm, darling, my feet have been dancing across cobblestone streets and posh boutiques! My Pink Tutu Rome agenda included, of course, a little shopping spree! There were designer shops tucked away in side alleys, vintage boutiques overflowing with sequins and lace, and stalls bursting with bright silk scarves! And did I mention the exquisite handcrafted shoes? My heart (and my wallet) just couldn't resist! There are few things in this world that can compare to the joy of discovering a new pink satin clutch bag to complete an ensemble, am I right?
A Feast for the Senses
My darling, Rome truly is a city where even the simplest things are infused with beauty. A leisurely lunch in a quaint courtyard, the aroma of freshly baked bread, a chat with a charming local who couldn't resist telling me his favourite story about Roman history – it was pure bliss. But perhaps the most incredible discovery was finding a family-run trattoria tucked away down a narrow alley. Imagine, this adorable little spot serving the most divine carbonara, accompanied by a jug of perfectly chilled Prosecco. And the owner, bless him, was smitten with my tutu. He kept calling me a "little angel!" My kind of Italian!
A Piece of Roman History (With Pink Glitter, Of course!)
Now, no trip to Rome would be complete without exploring its rich history, darling. I mean, the Roman Forum! The Pantheon! You know, those majestic places that take your breath away! But let's just say, my trusty tutu didn't miss a step when I walked amidst such incredible ruins! The Colosseum, bathed in golden sunshine with its shadows dancing across the floor... it truly was a spectacle! And I just couldn't help but feel like a graceful little princess in the middle of this historical masterpiece.

I guess you know me, darling, always looking for ways to add a sprinkle of pink tutu magic to my world. Even on this journey, I saw so much that sparked new creative ideas! Maybe a new line of tutu-inspired outfits, with Italian flair, perhaps? I already have some sketching in my head! We shall see what next week brings!
