Hello my dearest tutu-tastic followers! It’s Wednesday again, and that means a fresh blog post from yours truly, Emma, straight from the heart of Rome. Yes, you heard that right – I've finally landed in this enchanting city! My suitcase is packed to the brim with enough pink tulle to make the Trevi Fountain blush, and I’m ready to embrace the magic of Rome in my very own Pink Tutu Style.
You see, I've always had a passion for travel, but it’s been my absolute dream to bring my Pink Tutu World to the beautiful cobblestone streets of Italy. I've been twirling and pirouetting across Derbyshire for as long as I can remember, but a Pink Tutu journey just wouldn’t be complete without an Italian adventure.
Speaking of journeys, remember that long train ride I told you about in my last blog post? My legs were a bit wobbly after the dance recital (especially after my “Grand Jeté” with a double twist!), but let me tell you, a journey across Europe by train is just magical. It feels like you're stepping right out of a fairytale – with gorgeous scenery flitting past, fellow travellers sharing stories, and a lovely cup of tea in my little Pink Tutu corner by the window. It was such a glamorous journey, complete with a couple of naps on my elegant velvet Pink Tutu cushion (of course!).
So, how do I manage to see the world with a Pink Tutu at my feet? Well, you know me, I’m not just a Pink Tutu blogger – I'm a professional ballerina too! The beauty of this little double act is that the magic of dance keeps my Pink Tutu dreams alive. I dedicate all my earnings from performances and classes to chasing my travel desires, and I truly believe that ballet is the ultimate key to unlocking any dream. After all, what could be more rewarding than swirling across the stage under the spotlight and knowing that each performance is funding a dream?
And trust me, my dreams are absolutely Pink Tutu fabulous. It's more than just seeing the sights. It's about experiencing the essence of every location, embracing its spirit, and finding the perfect way to infuse that special Pink Tutu flavour into my memories. That means more than just photos – it’s all about feeling the atmosphere, connecting with the local people, and yes, Pink Tutu is absolutely a part of it!
Rome - A Love Affair With History & Fashion
Let's talk Rome! I’m on a mission to see the Colosseum (oh how I wish I could pirouette on those Roman ruins!), admire the breathtaking Vatican City (the pink roses are going to be divine), and of course, explore all the charming little corners where Roman history comes to life. I can already picture myself spinning down cobbled alleyways, my Pink Tutu fluttering with the spirit of Ancient Rome.
But let's be real, this trip is also a serious affair with the city's fabulous fashion scene! Rome is an iconic fashion capital and it would be simply rude to miss the amazing vintage shops and haute couture boutiques. And let me tell you, the hunt for the perfect Pink Tutu look for the Coliseum will be absolutely legendary! Just imagine the Pink Tutu photoshoots in the shadow of those majestic columns!
Speaking of Pink Tutu looks, you’ll have to catch my Instagram stories to see my first outfit. It's a stunning blend of pink lace, elegant flowy layers, and a very chic little black beret - my ultimate Pink Tutu ensemble for a first day of adventures in Rome. I already know this is going to be an incredible week in the Eternal City. Tomorrow, I'll be checking out some incredible Pink Tutu inspiration, and I'm even trying a little Italian ballet class! That should add some extra pizzazz to my steps. And if I'm lucky, maybe we'll even catch a Pink Tutu performance – just you wait!
