Helloooo my gorgeous tutu-lovers!
It's your girl Emma, back with another day of pink, twirls, and, yes, you guessed it, tutus! Today, we're hopping on the train and heading to Tottenham! I just love the buzz of London - it's so full of energy and life, and, of course, so many wonderful theatres and studios to discover!
As you know, my passion for all things ballet knows no bounds. Whether it's watching the incredible talent of a Royal Ballet performance, taking class with the amazing tutors in Derbyshire, or finding new ways to infuse ballet into everyday life with my street dance group, my soul thrives on movement, grace, and those beautiful, billowing tutus!
This weekend, however, things are a little different! It's all about the German Tutu! Now, this is a style I absolutely adore - all about that effortlessly elegant look. It's light and flowy, with the perfect touch of classic flair. Imagine, my lovelies, the light fabric, delicate lace, and intricate embroidery! Absolutely divine!
London Calling!
Arriving at Kings Cross station was like stepping into a whirl of magic. There was something about the scent of London air and the bustling platform, the way it crackled with excitement, that made me just want to dance! I found my trusty backpack adorned with a little pink tutu charm - it's like my good luck talisman - and popped on my German Tutu (and let's be honest, a touch of pink here and there, because what's a day without a sprinkle of our favorite color?!).
Tutu Shop Delight!
First stop, of course, was a charming tutu shop! I've discovered a real gem tucked away in a side street, and you know how I am with a good ol' bargain! This tutu had the most incredible, vibrant shade of blush pink that I just had to have. I could practically hear it whisper "Emma, darling, wear me, you'll look sensational!" Imagine, it flowed so beautifully, just perfect for twirling on the London streets!
Afternoon at the Theatre
We all love a good old ballet show, don't we? This evening, I'm attending the ballet adaptation of "Swan Lake"! Can you imagine the swans, all in white, their bodies like feathers, gracefully gliding across the stage? Absolute heaven. I love seeing all the emotions play out on stage. It's like watching a silent film with just movements and music!
Wildlife & Wonderland
But there's more! Later tonight, I'm heading to the London Zoo! It's not all tutus and ballet, you know! I find so much beauty in wildlife, in the way they move and the magic of the natural world. I’m just itching to see the elegant giraffes, their grace reminds me so much of ballerinas!
