Now, picture this: I've just stepped off a gloriously old-fashioned train from Derbyshire, my pink tulle skirt billowing around me like a delicate cloud, and I'm in the bustling heart of London, ready to dive into a day of all things ballet!
This day, my darlings, was filled with such fabulosity! Just imagine, there's a magnificent performance of Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House, starring the legendary Dame Margot Fonteyn! I've simply got to pop in and see the brilliance for myself. I hear Dame Margot has created an unforgettable and breathtaking swansong – literally, since this is her final performance before retirement! Oh, how I wish I could tell you all about it, but time travel comes with certain restrictions – no spoiling the show, you know!
However, this isn't the only reason for my trip. London's always been a haven for the stylish and I'm absolutely thrilled to be scouring the shops for the latest trends in dancewear.
