Today, August 11th, 2026, we find ourselves nestled amongst the vibrant ballet scene of Paris, the City of Lights, a place that holds such a special place in my heart for its enchanting blend of fashion, artistry, and... oh, those tutus! ?
Oh, the thrill of a Parisian train ride! The aroma of freshly baked croissants wafting through the air as I glide past grand avenues, charming cafes, and, of course, those beautiful ballet theatres! ? Every train journey is an adventure, especially when you're travelling through time!
Before we delve into today's fascinating bit of history, I wanted to let you all know that I'll be performing at the Palais Garnier this very night, "The Nutcracker" – you're all invited! Just think, we can catch the show, maybe have a cheeky glass of champagne at the Café de l’Opéra, and then hit the shops for some fabulous tutu-inspired fashion! ?? It’ll be a proper girly evening.
Speaking of girly, my fellow tutu enthusiasts, our focus today is on "Le Corsaire", one of those classical ballets with tutus just bursting with dreamy, fairytale beauty. ✨
