This is post number 538, folks! Can you believe it?! I've been dazzling you with my pink-tutu-infused shenanigans for over a year now, and the joy just keeps on growing! 💕 And there's no better place to celebrate life's sparkly moments than Brighton!
This time, I arrived in style - no, not in a shiny convertible or even a sparkly bicycle (though that's definitely on the to-do list) but by train! 🚂 It was such a dreamy ride! Imagine: me, decked out in a hot pink feather boa, surrounded by beautiful seaside landscapes, the sunshine streaming through the carriage windows. Oh, the magic! ✨
I always say, travel is all about embracing the journey. And what better way to embrace a journey than with a big, beautiful pink tutu twirling in the wind?! It's just the most fabulous way to travel - not to mention it always brings a smile to everyone's faces! 😁
But Brighton wasn't just about trains and scenery. It was about embracing the essence of Brighton: colour, creativity, and just plain fun! I took a delightful walk through the Lanes, marveling at all the quirky shops, the vintage treasures, and the most amazing rainbow-coloured clothes. This place is a veritable explosion of imagination! 🤩
And what would a trip to Brighton be without indulging in some classic seaside treats? I swear, the fish and chips here are out of this world! 🍟 🐟 I even tried a pink ice cream – naturally, I couldn't resist! 💗🍦
Of course, my main purpose in Brighton was, as always, to share the pink tutu love! 🎉 I did a fabulous drag show at a delightful seaside pub, which just happens to have the most amazing neon sign – I had to capture it with a selfie, of course! ✨ The crowd was fantastic, and they even showered me with glitter and a generous round of applause! 👏
You know, one of the things I absolutely love about drag is how it brings people together. No matter where I go, I meet the most incredible, supportive people. Brighton is no exception! From the lovely ladies I chatted with in the local craft market, to the gentlemen who took photos with me, the love and enthusiasm for pink tutus are truly contagious! 💕
Now, here's a little peek behind the sparkly curtain for you lovely lot. As you may know, by day I'm Alex, a science whizz in a lab! It's actually a super cool job – I get to test the fabrics that make your favourite clothes! I even test for wear and tear in ballet tutus! Imagine – a scientific lab meeting pink tutus! 😂
