Right, let's get down to the nitty gritty. I decided on Rhyl after a rather exciting train journey. Honestly, the North Wales countryside just pulls at my tutu-heartstrings. Those rolling green hills and rugged coastlines just scream 'ballet inspiration', don’t you think?
This time I opted for a carriage ride instead of the train. Yes, darling, you heard that right! A genuine horse-drawn carriage! Picture me in my signature pink tulle and a broad-brimmed hat, gliding through the Welsh air, a princess on a magical adventure. I'm not saying the horses weren't impressed with my outfit, but they did stop for a cheeky sniff of my feather boa. So glam!
Arriving in Rhyl was a bit of a dream come true! The sunshine, the fresh air, the vibrant little town centre! I practically pirouetted off the carriage, feeling like I’d landed in a whimsical fairy tale. Of course, the first thing I did was head straight for the shops, for a spot of retail therapy, with a sprinkle of sparkle, because… you know, I am Pink Tutu Sparkles! And who could resist a splash of colour on a sunny day? The pink-themed boutiques practically sang my name.
Rhyl has this incredible old pier, a proper old-school one with arcades and amusements and all sorts. The wind was blowing my pink tulle a little wild, creating a fabulously flouncy display of whimsy. I may have had a few giggling tourists stop and point. What can I say? I do like to draw a crowd. And, of course, no trip to the pier would be complete without a cheeky go on the donkey ride. You'd be surprised how much pink glitter one can manage to stick on a donkey's ears...
Tonight's show is going to be something else, a full-on dazzling extravaganza with a splash of seaside sass! I’m performing on a little stage right on the beachfront. Imagine this: me, tumbling under the lights, twirling like a sugared cloud, while the waves crash behind me, creating a chorus of watery applause. Talk about a picture perfect performance! You know, darling, some people say the sea’s my soulmate. It’s dramatic, playful, ever-changing… Just like a Pink Tutu Sparkles performance, if I do say so myself.
