Oh my darlings, this is post number 2617 for your favourite pink tutu-clad drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles! And guess what? I’m off on a whirlwind adventure today, heading to the delightful town of Sale! Sale, you say? It's just a hop, skip, and a twirl from my Derbyshire abode. So, of course, I’m going in style – think hot pink carriage (read: train), the kind you’d see Cinderella escaping from! 😉
It’s been ages since I’ve been to Sale. My last visit was for a fantastic performance at the Sale Waterside Arts Centre – my sequins shimmered so much, you could practically see me from outer space! That performance was a complete sellout, of course. We even had a charming gentleman with a very pink tutu-inspired moustache and bowtie in the front row. The real stars of the night, however, were my dancing tutu fairies. Every pirouette and grand jeté, simply breathtaking! It's moments like these that truly remind me why I do what I do.
But enough about my past glories, let's talk Sale! Today, I'm not only going to dazzle the town with my fabulous pink tutu, but I'm also going to indulge my inner ballerina – yes, it's time to visit the legendary Sale Ballet School! 🩰 You know me, I simply can't resist a good pirouette or a well-placed plié. And just imagine the outfit I'm going to put together! Perhaps a new shade of pink? Maybe a little more tulle than usual? It's going to be exquisite! I can almost hear the whispers of “Pink Tutu Sparkles, you are the queen of style!”
Later on, I'm off to Sale's buzzing marketplace, which has the most delightful little stalls. It’s always a thrill, I'm telling you, picking up local goodies and having a good chat with the friendly vendors. I hear their local fudge is divine. Maybe a little taste is in order? Perhaps with a cuppa and a cheeky “Just One More!” at one of the little tearooms, because a gal’s got to fuel herself for all that tutuing! 🧁
But the best bit? I'm going to be strutting my stuff at the town fair this evening. That's right, I'm going to perform my new number – think twirling, dancing, sequins, and a whole lotta pink tutu magic! It's going to be the most incredible showcase of the sheer fabulousness of pink tutus! I am already getting butterflies – anticipation is my most glamorous ailment.
