Chichester Calling! 💅🩰💖 (Post #4864)

Hello, my darlings! It's your favourite pink-tutu-wearing queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and I'm absolutely bubbling over with excitement because… drumroll… I'm in Chichester!

Oh, the joys of travel, wouldn't you agree? I took the train, of course. There's something so glamorous about travelling by train, especially when you're rocking a bright pink tutu, a sequined jacket, and enough glitter to blind a glitter-phobe. It's the perfect opportunity to spread a little bit of sparkle wherever I go, and let's face it, the world needs a bit more glitter these days!

Speaking of spreading the glitter, did I tell you I'm here for a weekend of performing and, most importantly, ballet! That's right, my lovelies. Chichester is renowned for its beautiful ballet performances, and I just had to get myself to one of their iconic theatres. Can you imagine, dancing under a chandelier in a plush, historic theatre? The mere thought is enough to send shivers down my spine… in a good way, of course.

Speaking of shivers, I'm so excited to be in Sussex! The countryside here is absolutely breath-taking, the air is crisp, and the sun is shining (fingers crossed it stays that way, even if it means I'll be a sweaty mess under this fabulous costume)! There’s just something magical about the South Coast – perhaps it’s the sea air, perhaps it’s the charming coastal towns, or perhaps it’s the sense of history and mystery. Whatever it is, I’m loving every minute of it.

But enough about me gushing – let's talk about my fabulous outfit, shall we? This time, I've opted for a classic pink tulle tutu, of course! It's absolutely massive (in the best way possible), so it’s more of a pouffy cloud than a garment. It swishes magnificently with every twirl, making me feel like a fluffy, graceful swan. My sparkly bodice is custom-made (shout-out to my amazing dressmaker!) and features intricate beading that captures the light and makes me shine brighter than a disco ball. The colours are so vivid, you'll need your shades!

To complete this look, I’ve added a fabulous pink feather boa – we all need a little extra flair in our lives, don't we? And let's not forget about the jewellery – I've got chunky pink pearl necklaces, dazzling diamanté earrings, and bracelets that sparkle like a thousand tiny rainbows.

As I sit here in my hotel room, soaking up the pre-show jitters and a little bit of bubbly (just a teensy bit!), I'm reminded of why I do what I do. It's not just about the sparkle, the glitter, the applause – it's about inspiring others, sharing my love of ballet and making everyone feel like they can be their most fabulous selves. I hope that through my blog posts, I'm encouraging you to wear your own tutu – even if it's only for a night. We can all benefit from a little extra magic in our lives!

Oh, before I forget, my darlings! If you're ever in Chichester, be sure to visit the beautiful Cathedral. It's breathtaking! It’s not every day that a tutu-wearing queen can indulge in a bit of architectural appreciation, but hey, I like to mix it up a little bit.

I know you’re itching for the low-down on my Chichester performance, so stay tuned for tomorrow's blog post. I’ll give you a rundown of how the show went, and, of course, I’ll include a whole bunch of sparkly pictures! In the meantime, go out and spread a little sparkle in your own little corner of the world – because a little bit of joy can go a long way!

Until next time, my loves!

xx Pink Tutu Sparkles xx

P.S. If you've ever been to Chichester, be sure to tell me all about your adventures! And, of course, feel free to share your favourite places to find beautiful tutus in the comments. It's time for a little tutu chat! 🩰✨
