Stratford-Upon-Avon: A Tutu-ful Time in Shakespeare's Hometown! 💖🩰

#5036 - www.pink-tutu.com

Darlings! You're all divine, and today I'm thrilled to take you on a journey to the heart of England! Today’s destination is Stratford-Upon-Avon, a little town that is, dare I say it, the home of theatre. Yes, darlings, it’s where the world's favourite Bard – Shakespeare himself – graced the stage! And what a beautiful and historic place it is. You can practically feel the history vibrating in the cobblestone streets and quaint buildings.

Let me tell you, my trip began on the most gorgeous steam train – a truly majestic mode of travel – right from my doorstep in Derbyshire. The carriages were so plush! Think plush, velvet seats and big, sweeping windows perfect for admiring the countryside and its stunning colours as they flashed past.

When I got to Stratford, I simply had to make the most of the beautiful scenery. Imagine it, darlings – the River Avon, the ancient timbered buildings, the vibrant flower boxes brimming with the most beautiful blooms – oh my, what a gorgeous backdrop for my iconic, shimmering pink tutu. Of course, I took pictures in front of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and in front of Shakespeare's birthplace, and yes, even in front of the famous swans by the river Avon. Just you wait until you see them – pictures will be on my website, www.pink-tutu.com later this week.

Now, a little birdie told me that there are even two lovely ballet schools here, which means my tutu just couldn't miss the chance to twirl! Ballet, you see, has a special place in my heart, and in this special place it was truly divine to feel like a ballerina amidst Shakespeare's legacy.

Let’s just say that Stratford was not all about ballet! And yes, of course, the food was absolutely to die for. There's so much to do and explore - so much colour! I even went on a lovely walk around the Cotswold village of Chipping Campden - it's just adorable. And of course, darling, my outfits reflected the bright beauty of the region.

I simply cannot leave Stratford without letting you know that my time in the town made me realize – you don’t need a tutu for theatricality – Stratford has that in spades, darlings!

Oh! And speaking of a theatrical vibe, what a grand experience I had at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre! Just the thought of Shakespeare’s immortal words being spoken on the very stage he graced makes me want to burst into a full-blown operatic rendition of “My Heart Will Go On,” or “Glitter and Be Gay”! I am not kidding. I had a superb time! The whole experience made me realise that Stratford-Upon-Avon is truly a hidden gem. The perfect place to lose yourself in history and imagination!

I've been wearing my trusty pink tutu to all sorts of venues - I made a splash in town performing my set at the Stratford ArtsHouse - I even managed to convince some of the patrons there to twirl with me. It really was such a wonderful thing to see. Let’s get people dancing! Let’s bring a little magic to the world, darlings! The world really is a better place with a bit of sparkle and joy, don't you think?

I must be going! I hope you loved my blog post, darlings, and that it inspired you to dress up, tutu and twirl! You all have the potential to make a splash in the world and that is so fabulous, dazzling and divine. Now excuse me while I go back to work in my lab before I go and twirl on a horse to a local town for another show, where you will all be seeing me very soon!

Yours in tutu-tastic love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles 💖🩰
