Helloooo my fabulous friends! It’s your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing you another scintillating instalment of my adventures from the fabulous pinkest world of all!
Today I’m swirling into Pont-y-pool, Wales! A bit of a journey, I must say. I could have driven but as a girl who loves trains almost as much as tutus, well, a first-class ticket to Wales with a bottle of pink Prosecco? Yes please! I even had a chat with the lovely conductor. He seemed very impressed by my tutu! I mean, who wouldn't be?! 😉
Now, I don't know about you darlings, but when I see Pont-y-pool on a map, it conjures images of fairytale castles, rolling hills, and… tutus! Oh yes, this Welsh haven has captured my heart before even stepping foot in this lovely little town.
Today was about exploration and getting ready for tomorrow's performance. I must say, you'd be surprised by how much sparkle there is in a seemingly small town! There were shops, cafes, and even a local bakery. Not just any bakery, mind you, a place with pink frosted doughnuts and cupcakes! You know how I love my sweets! 🧁
One shop in particular stole my heart. A dress shop filled to the brim with fabulous fabrics, shimmery sequins, and even – brace yourselves – sparkly pink tutus! 😱 They looked right at home on the shop's mannequins! I practically lived in the shop, choosing from every beautiful fabric and embellishment my little pink-loving heart could desire. My new outfit is going to be to-die-for! And just for you my lovelies, I'll give you a sneaky peek at my latest creation in my next post! ✨
The rest of the day was spent on a rather delightful stroll around the charming town square. There was a gorgeous church with an equally stunning stained glass window – the colours, my dears, you wouldn’t believe! It would make even the most reserved tutu lover say, "wow"! The sky was an artist's canvas today, painted with hues of blush pink, pastel purple, and even the deepest navy blue. Such a treat to my eyes. You see, the whole trip has just been like an elegant dance, perfectly choreographed by a universe obsessed with everything pink and fabulous.
Tonight, I'll be enjoying a hearty, delicious meal of Welsh lamb and… pink fluffy rice pudding, naturally. 😉 Who doesn't love a bit of traditional Welsh cuisine?
Tomorrow is going to be huge! My performance in Pont-y-pool is going to be something spectacular, with my own unique blend of ballet and drag. And remember my dear loves, it wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles without a few exciting surprises. Let’s just say it involves tutus. Lots of them! And who knows, you might even see me do a little bit of ballet! 😉
