I've been writing this blog every day since my first post back in 2010. I'm telling you, tutus, travelling, and spreading the pink love is a full-time job! 😉
Today, my darlings, I'm whisked away to the charming town of Pinner. Now, I've always said a girl can never have too many places on her "must-see" list, and Pinner has just climbed to the very top. I travelled in style, of course, opting for the glorious First Class on the London Underground, complete with a complimentary cup of Earl Grey tea and a scrumptious sausage roll from a delightful local bakery. Who said you can't indulge in a bit of luxury whilst sporting your signature pink tutu?
The journey itself was magical. Pinner feels like a quaint little village nestled amongst bustling London. As the train journey wound through green fields and charming gardens, I imagined myself twirling on stage at a grand London theatre. The wind in my tutu, the glitter catching the sunshine... truly a magical experience.
Speaking of magical experiences, you wouldn't believe the adventure I had just finding my perfect tutu for today's escapades. My local shop was unfortunately devoid of pink tutus. Apparently, Pinner isn't quite ready for a tutu revolution! But never fear, my dears, I'm a Pink Tutu Sparkles pro, and I always have a backup plan!
I took a stroll through the local park, enjoying the springtime blossoms and a delightful picnic of sandwiches and strawberries. That's when I spotted it! A shop window, bathed in sunshine, showcasing a stunning array of tutus. Not just any tutus, mind you, but tutus adorned with sparkly rainbows! A tutu-lover's dream come true. I couldn't resist!
My newly acquired, rainbow tutu twirled perfectly in the Pinner breeze. And don't even get me started on the shoes! I snagged the most dazzling pair of sparkly pink ballet pumps - just the right touch of sparkle to match my flamboyant personality.
And now, I'm off to explore Pinner! My schedule is jam-packed, and I've already found a delightful little ballet class near the local library. Maybe I can inspire some of the young ladies in the class to embrace their inner tutu queens. (Hint, hint!)
This afternoon, I'm headed to a delightful tea shop for a spot of tea and scones, because every true fashionista deserves a little indulgence. And don't even think for a second that I'll miss out on the Pinner Markets - the perfect opportunity for a little bit of vintage shopping and local charm!
But that's not all! Later tonight, I'll be dazzling Pinner with my electrifying drag performance at the town's very own, quaint local pub. Imagine, my dear readers, Pink Tutu Sparkles bringing her signature brand of bubbly, pink-infused fun to a traditional pub setting! Just a pinch of chaos mixed with a sprinkle of fairy dust.
