Bishop Auckland here I come, all sparkly and ready to unleash a little tutu magic! ✨ I've been so excited about this trip - I hear the locals are totally ready to embrace a bit of pink and twirl. Can't wait to show you what I've been planning.
You know, life as a travelling Tutu Queen is all about embracing the adventure! ✈️ The journey is just as important as the destination - I'm not one for flying these days, you know, a bit of glamour in the air, yes! But it’s all about those epic train rides! 🚂
I can’t think of anything better than snuggled up in the carriage, with a steaming hot cuppa, enjoying the scenery, while my trusty little fluffy tutu friend snuggles in next to me. Did you know my friend "Sparkles" gets the whole compartment to himself? He travels in his little plush velvet carry bag, perfect for being cuddled. Sparkles is quite the VIP, honestly. 🥰
But before we jump on the train, we’re heading off for a spot of ballet shopping. You see, I love finding those unique little tutu treasures to jazz up my outfits! A proper sparkly tutu ensemble just isn’t complete without the perfect pair of pink ballerina pumps and a tulle head-bow. ✨ 👠 It’s not just about looking good, it's about feeling like a princess ballerina, even if it's just for a day. It's a mindset, you see! 👑
Anyway, let’s hop back to the train… Did I mention it’s a real steam train! I can't help myself! 💨 I am a complete sucker for any kind of transportation with a puff of smoke and a clang! Oh, and don’t get me started on horses. Now there's an excellent form of transport. My first drag show was at a fairground, and nothing beats a carriage pulled by magnificent horses to announce the Pink Tutu Queen! 🐎
So, here we are, Bishop Auckland! A magical medieval town, I hear, and I just know it's going to be the perfect setting for a Tutu Sparkle spectacular!
But before the big night, I'm already feeling the creative energy in the air! I just had to visit this amazing shop full of fabric - the kind you could dream a tutu up in. 🪡🧵 Oh, how I'd love to be able to spend my days playing with beautiful materials! Maybe after a bit of pink-powered inspiration, I'll pop into the studio, where the scientist me lives. I am a real lab rat at heart! The perfect balance between creating and analysing, my life! 👩🔬 Testing fabric at my day job has given me so many ideas. I know the best way to create the perfect flow, shimmer, and texture for a Tutu Sparkles masterpiece.
Back to Bishop Auckland... Tonight, we're gonna make some serious sparkle! 💃 This venue's all about historic elegance, so my tutu look is going to be something truly special. I can't wait to see what the crowd wears - will we see a sea of pink tutus in the audience?! It’s the Pink Tutu Dream, right? 😊
Of course, every Tutu Queen has her secret weapons... For the big performance, it's going to be a big, glittery tutu, some perfectly placed feathers, and my most dazzling smile. The aim? To create that joyful feeling in every audience member – and I can already tell, the locals are going to love it!
