Post 7197: A Pink Tutu Adventure
Hiya darlings! Your favourite pink tutu-clad drag queen is back, and guess what? Iām in the most fabulously industrial, slightly unexpected, and utterly delightful spot! Yes, you heard that right ā the amazing, iconic Pont-y-pool is where Pink Tutu Sparkles is gracing the stage!
I must admit, Iāve been to many a seaside town, to fabulous city centers and countryside spots. But a steel mill? Thatās new! But let me tell you, this place is just screaming with an amazing kind of charm. You'd be surprised at the amazing vintage shops and cozy cafes hidden among all those factories and steel mills! Itās kind of like my pink tutu ā a dash of glitz in a world that doesnāt always expect it.
Getting here was an adventure in itself! Remember, the queen travels by train whenever possible! I got a first-class ticket with extra legroom and snagged a seat next to the window. The view of the countryside just whizzed past! So, to start my Pont-y-pool odyssey in style, I treated myself to a new pink tulle bow for my hair and even had the opportunity to buy an amazing pastel pink lace hat. And if you haven't already heard, this past weekend, I'm putting on a show in the heart of Pont-y-pool! You can bet it's gonna be spectacular! Think dancing in the aisles, sequins raining from the sky, and lots of pink, of course! It's my chance to show the town how much I love to bring a little sparkle to even the most unexpected places.
For those who want to experience it for yourselves, Iām performing in a lovely town hall with gorgeous original murals and, wouldn't you know it, I had the chance to perform with a real live marching band! It was magical, just imagine me, swirling in my tutu as the music fills the air.
Whatās better than a little tutu twirl in the afternoon? A lovely, steaming cup of tea, right? Pont-y-pool is a total gem for a spot of afternoon tea. I had the best scone I've ever tasted and all washed down with delicious tea in a cute, little tea room. (Iāll add a link to their website below! They have the most lovely floral china).
You know, part of being Pink Tutu Sparkles is not just being about my incredible costumes, but embracing all the experiences life has to offer. This trip is all about showing how pink tutus can be found in the most unexpected corners, showing everyone how fun it is to explore outside the expected!

Top to bottom pink! You know this already! We're talking vibrant pink blouses, think a fluffy, tulle-filled, layered skirt that really makes a statement, but make sure to show a flash of those killer heels!
A splash of steel! Iām channeling that steel mill industrial vibe into my accessories. A necklace with shiny, silver detailing is perfect! And, of course, a dash of pink glitter - for a truly āPink Tutuā finish!
*Hair: * It's gotta be something amazing. Maybe a pink braid or even a playful side bun. Iām even thinking of rocking those big 50s hair clips to go for a truly vintage look, just like the locals.
*Makeup: * Nothing subtle here! A touch of neon pink eye shadow makes a statement. For extra sparkle, layer up on glittery makeup, and let those eyelashes fly high!
Oh, and for you lovely tutu-obsessed fashionistas out there, don't forget, pink tutus come in all shapes and sizes. Short or long, layered or single, full-on princess style or more contemporary. If you want to add a touch of "Pink Tutu Sparkles" to your look, thereās a style out there for everyone!
