Helloooo, darlings! It's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-toting, sparkly wonder, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another post, this time from the charming little town of Fleet, Hampshire. Now, Fleet is a little less sparkly than my usual stomping grounds, but as any good queen knows, magic can bloom in the most unexpected places.
My journey here was an absolute delight. Forget the tiresome queues and cramped carriages of modern transport - this queen chose a most elegant and scenic method: by horse. Yes, darlings, a carriage drawn by four magnificent steeds. A truly regal way to travel, if I do say so myself, and it got me thinking, who wouldn't want to experience a little touch of the old-world charm, right?
This little town of Fleet, it reminded me a bit of those quaint seaside towns you see in old movies. Not quite the bustle and shimmer of, say, London, but with its own charm nonetheless. Think cobblestone streets, independent shops with character, and, of course, a proper chippy!
Tutu Treasures
You know I'm always on the lookout for new tutu inspiration, and Fleet did not disappoint! While I did spot the usual suspects at the shops (namely, beige, brown, and black, yawn!), I also came across a gem! A little hidden away shop, called "The Fabric Room". This place was a haven for fabric enthusiasts, and my, how it made my heart flutter. The rainbow of hues was like something out of a fairytale, and guess what I discovered tucked away on the back shelf?
You guessed it - a pile of pink, tulle.
Yes, darling, I'm talking soft, silky, just begging to be twirled tulle in shades of blush, bubblegum, and a glorious, bold fuchsia that would make even a blushing rose weep with envy. Needless to say, I indulged in a little fabric shopping spree. More exciting additions to my costume wardrobe, of course, because let's face it, every queen deserves an ever-expanding tutu collection!
Tutus and Tea
While I do love a glamorous event, I have to admit, sometimes, there's nothing quite like a good cup of tea, a slice of Victoria sponge, and some gossip with friends, right? And what better place for it than a proper British tea room? Fleet did not disappoint! I found myself sipping Earl Grey and indulging in delectable cakes at a quaint little establishment called "The Pink Teacup". You couldn't write a better name, could you?
But the best part? They had a small ballet class running right upstairs! Honestly, who knew that such a little town would have so much charm?
Pink Power, Onwards and Upwards
Every little pink adventure I embark upon fuels my dream: to encourage every single one of you to don a pink tutu and unleash your inner sparkle. It's not just about the outfit, darlings.
