Speaking of travelling, I embarked on this adventure by train, you know I adore a good journey by rail! The train chugged through the countryside, painted in the hues of spring. The rolling hills seemed to undulate like the tulle of my tutu as we sped past. And let me tell you, nothing says "glamour" like sipping on a sparkling lemonade with my new sparkly pink straw! ✨
I had the opportunity to catch the most delightful ballet show - "Swan Lake," at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre! The dancers were so graceful, they reminded me of how graceful I can be in my pink tutu - when I want to be! I think we can all learn a thing or two about poise from the elegant swan dancers, especially with a fabulous pink tutu to bring out the inner ballerina. The theatre itself was beautiful, just as historic as its namesake, William Shakespeare, and just as glamorous.
While the theatre performance was dazzling, I couldn't help but be completely captivated by the charming town itself! There are so many delightful independent boutiques just begging to be explored. You know what this means? It's time for a shopping spree! Oh, and you just wouldn't believe the array of pink accessories I found – ribbons, hair bows, headbands! My purse felt quite light when I arrived, but is now bulging with the cutest, pinkest delights! 💖🎀
You just can't leave Stratford-upon-Avon without a delightful visit to Anne Hathaway's cottage. It was simply exquisite! Imagine stepping back in time to an era where pink tutus probably wouldn't have been the norm (though wouldn't they be wonderful?!). It was amazing to imagine what life would have been like back then. And I, for one, can't imagine my life without my pink tutus! 💖
Oh, did I mention my new favourite spot in town? It's called the Shakespeare Cafe! They have a delightful array of pink lemonade, cupcakes and teas to fuel your tutu-filled adventures. Of course, I opted for a delectable pink latte - it's a good way to start a day of fabulous fun, don't you think?
