The windows were open, allowing the sweet smell of summer meadows to drift in, accompanied by the gentle swaying of the train as it carved its way through rolling green hills. Perfect for a Pink Tutu Sparkles daydream! 🚃
Reaching Bournville, the town seemed to sparkle like a box of assorted chocolates – a truly delightful mix of historic architecture and modern life. Of course, the first stop was a visit to the famous Cadbury World! It felt like stepping into a Willy Wonka wonderland, complete with a chocolate-filled factory tour and delicious, gooey delights galore! 🤤🍫 But, let’s be honest, this queen is a total chocoholic and I could happily live inside a chocolate fountain for the rest of my days. 🍫😜
Next up, it was time to get my culture fix. Now, you all know I'm a sucker for a good ballet performance! Bournville, much to my delight, boasts the charming Bournville Ballet Studio. Now, they’re not your typical fancy theatre setting, but it’s where passion meets grace – just the kind of charm that catches my fancy! It was a joy watching the young ballerinas twirl, their dedication inspiring, the gentle thump of their feet on the floor a lovely counterpoint to the soaring melodies. Ballet has always been my other love; after all, a tutu is a tutu, whether it's on stage or on the streets! ✨🩰
After soaking up the grace and beauty of Bournville Ballet, it was time to indulge in some shopping therapy! A well-dressed drag queen, it's important you know, always looks her best! I must confess, I’m quite partial to pink – think the blush of a blooming rose, the hue of cotton candy, and the vibrant shade of bubblegum. You know me, never shy away from a splash of pink! 💖🛍️ I spent a glorious afternoon rummaging through boutiques, finding the most enchanting accessories and stylish attire to add to my dazzling wardrobe. I managed to pick up a few truly special pieces - a delicate pink beaded clutch and a stunningly embroidered feather boa. Just what any Pink Tutu Sparkles wardrobe needs! 😜
Now, what would a trip to Bournville be without a spot of high tea? In the most delightful, dainty cafe, nestled in a cobblestoned courtyard, I indulged in the most splendid afternoon tea. Delicate finger sandwiches, fluffy scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and an assortment of dainty, sweet pastries… it was truly the perfect way to cap off my Bournville adventures. 💖🍓🍰
Oh, and let’s not forget the people! It's always heartwarming to encounter so many friendly faces along my travels.
