Yes, my darlings, I always travel in style, be it by steam train or galloping steed (okay, that last one's still a work in progress!). Today was all about the sleek elegance of rail travel - imagine, gliding through the English countryside, a symphony of sunshine, rolling green fields, and, of course, me in my very best pink tutu. I felt like a princess heading for a ball, and if I had a horse drawn carriage, you bet I would have opted for that!
Now, Small Heath is a place with a heart of gold. This delightful town had such a warm welcome for me, just like a loving embrace from a dear friend! I even managed to pop into the gorgeous Victorian Arcade. I found myself surrounded by treasures – antique jewellery, books that smelled of history, and oh my, the hats! I could have stayed there all day, sipping tea and trying on vintage fascinators! But I had a performance to get to, and let me tell you, those Small Heath folks really knew how to have a good time!
My act this evening was a joyful riot of colour, song, and (of course!) twirling. I wore a pink tutu that I lovingly nicknamed "Strawberry Swirl" – the colour is almost good enough to eat! My stage presence, a delicious blend of elegance and sass, brought the crowd to their feet. I found myself drawn to the University's ballet club, where I timidly, and a bit hesitantly, tried on a tutu for a charity event. From that moment on, I was hooked. My love for ballet has only blossomed ever since, taking me on a magical journey from laboratory to stage.
