Nottingham! Oh My Tutu Darling! πŸ’…πŸ©°πŸ’–

Hello darlings! πŸ’– It’s your Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another blog post from your favourite pink-tutu-loving drag artist! This is post number 9293, can you believe it?! You’re just joining me for the ride on www.pink-tutu.com – strap in, darlings, because today we're heading to Nottingham!

This little city, tucked away in the heart of England, has been calling to me for ages! Now, don't get me wrong, I love London. I mean, come on, who doesn't? But Nottingham? This place is dripping with history, and for me, nothing’s better than stepping into the past – or at least imagining stepping into the past with a gorgeous pink tutu! 🩰

I'll admit, travelling to Nottingham was a bit of a different experience. No sleek tube journey for this girl – I opted for a vintage train. Yes, that's right, darling! We're talking steam engine, chuffing along, vintage vibes! And to make it even more spectacular, I managed to squeeze a seat right next to the engine driver – it's the perfect place for a tutu Queen like me to get those amazing travel photos.

And you know what else? A vintage train provides ample opportunity for striking up a conversation with other passengers, who, in my case, included a lovely couple heading for a day out at Wollaton Hall. It's the house where they filmed that movie, The Theory of Everything, did you know? I was captivated. Not just by the house, which, oh darling, was stunning, but by their passion for Nottingham's local history!

But let's talk about Nottingham itself! As soon as we arrived, I could feel the energy. That buzz you only get when you're somewhere new and exciting. We first stopped at the Theatre Royal for some real pre-show prep – just some fabulous photo opportunities with my pink tutu shimmering under the iconic lights, of course! You know I have to be picture-perfect for my social media followers – keep those likes rolling in! 😍

Later, we stepped into the stunning Lace Market and its enchanting cobbled streets. It’s a hidden gem – all cute little shops and vintage vibes galore! I had to get a new feather boa to complete my outfit, darling, and oh my, the colour combinations I found in that shop! You know how much I love my pinks, and they had everything, from a subtle baby pink to a bold magenta that practically screamed, "Pink Tutu Sparkles, is that you?"

The final stop on our little Nottingham adventure was the National Justice Museum, a building steeped in history, which is precisely why I had to drag myself to see it! πŸ˜‰ Inside, we explored courtrooms, delved into history, and discovered the captivating world of law and order. You wouldn't believe how the dramatic lighting highlighted the beautiful architectural details.

And the evening? Well, we just couldn't pass up the chance to catch a performance at the Nottingham Playhouse! Darling, the actors were fabulous. The sheer energy of the performance was just electrifying, especially for a play about life in the Nottinghamshire countryside, so unexpected, so dramatic! 🎭

Of course, we ended our night at a lively, traditional pub. A bit of food, a few giggles, and a cheeky gin and tonic later, and my Nottingham adventure was coming to an end. πŸ₯‚

Oh darling, did I mention, during my time in Nottingham, I finally found the perfect location for my next photo shoot! I'm keeping it a secret for now, but you can bet it’s going to be pink, glamorous, and tutu-tastic. It involves some hidden secret gardens that, once photographed in their glorious, sun-kissed glory, will be shared exclusively on my blog. πŸ’–

One thing you should know about me, my dears, is that I’m always, always on the lookout for inspiration, whether it's a captivating play, a breathtaking view, or, let’s be honest, the most exquisite tutu ever made! πŸ˜‰ It’s my job as a drag artist and blogger to seek out those tiny moments that inspire the big ideas – ideas that can hopefully spread a bit of love and kindness into this world!

As I write this, my mind is buzzing with ideas for my next post. Oh, I have so many exciting things planned! Next week, I’m heading back to the East Coast of England for a seaside adventure, with all the sand and salty air a Tutu Queen can handle, and lots of fabulous opportunities for photo shoots, and let me tell you, I’ve already found the most magnificent seaside shack for our afternoon tea. πŸ˜‰

Until then, darling, you can always check out www.pink-tutu.com and follow me on social media for all the updates and backstage glimpses. Don't forget to stay inspired, stay positive, and most importantly, always remember: you deserve to be your true self, pink tutu or not! 😘

Always and forever,

Pink Tutu Sparkles πŸ’…πŸ©°πŸ’–
