Morden: Tutu Travels with Pink Tutu Sparkles

Hello darling Divas, and welcome to Pink Tutu Sparkles' travel blog! Today’s post is number 9692. ? Can you believe it? It's amazing to think this fabulous journey has led me to write about…wait for it… Morden. ? I know, I know, some of you might be saying, "Pink Tutu, sweetie, is that really worth writing about?!" But hear me out. As always, every journey has its special moments, even a simple trip to Morden. ?

Trainspotting for Tutus ?? I love a good train journey. Something about gliding past the countryside with a nice cup of tea…just takes you away! And let me tell you, my trip to Morden was no exception. Of course, I’d had my Tutu-Tastic ensemble meticulously planned. Pink, obviously. ? This time, it was a vibrant fuchsia tutu, paired with a silky baby pink crop top and some fabulous pink feather boas (the more feathers the merrier, right?!). A couple of fabulous ladies on the train stopped to chat about the feather boa. I had my favourite Pink Prosecco for the journey.

The Charm of Morden Arriving in Morden felt like stepping into a delightful fairytale. Maybe it was the sunny afternoon, or the charming park with its rose bushes overflowing with pink blossoms - everything was so quaint and charming!

Dance with me, Morden! First on my Morden itinerary? A visit to the Morden Ballet School! You wouldn't believe the beautiful costumes and choreography they had there! It reminded me so much of the early days of my ballet passion. Back when I was just a shy science student at university, joining the ballet club and, gulp, trying on a tutu for the first time… it changed everything, darling! ? It was that very first twirl in a pink tutu that ignited my love for dance, and ultimately set me on this fabulous path. I must say, the beautiful ballerinas I met gave me a right dose of inspiration. ?

A Morden Marvel ? Next, it was time to check out Morden's vibrant market! So much colour! I'm talking stacks of beautiful fresh produce, quirky vintage stalls, and the most wonderful homemade fudge stand... which of course, I couldn't resist. And what did I see in one of the windows? Why, a gorgeous pink feather boa! Of course, I snagged that little gem, perfect for my next drag act, and perfect to keep the dream of pink alive in Morden! And if you're looking for a stylish find in Morden, darling, check out the vintage shop next door. I picked up some divine brooches for a little sparkle. ?

Dinner Fit for a Queen It's always a must to eat like a queen when you're on the road, right? So after my market adventure, it was time for some Morden magic. ?‍? I popped into the delightful French café - "Chez Marie." The atmosphere was positively delightful! They had a divine menu of pink-themed delights (no pink cocktails, sadly) and the freshest salads. And let’s not forget the pink cakes, just perfect with my favourite, pink-coloured tea.

Sharing the Pink Dream After indulging in this fantastic culinary experience, it was time to meet a few of my amazing fans in Morden! I was so excited to share my love for pink tutus with the local community, spreading joy and reminding everyone to embrace their inner sparkle. You know, it's all about that feeling of confidence and letting your unique self shine through. I felt like an extra fabulous sprinkle of magic in their everyday routine. It was, dare I say it, Tutu-tastic!

More Than Just a Tutu So yes, I’m off to Morden…again soon! Maybe I’ll catch a theatre show, a street performance... or maybe I'll just hang out in that gorgeous park and see where my sparkly heels take me! The world is a giant dance floor, darling, and my tutu is my invitation.
