I'm excited to talk to you about Longton! Now, I’m a girl who loves a good trip, a pretty town and of course, a chance to twirl in my pink tutu!
Longton's calling, you see, for I'm making a dash across the country, well, almost, to grace the stage of the Longton Theatre, nestled in the heart of the Potteries, known for its beautiful ceramics. You've guessed it: It's going to be a pinktastic extravaganza! ?
This journey, however, doesn't involve a glamorous tour bus or a comfy flight, darling! I’ll be riding the rails, embracing the romanticism of the journey just as much as the destination. There's something so enchanting about looking out the train window, imagining what adventures lie ahead, don't you think? ?
My outfit? Oh darling, let me tell you! For the train ride, it's all about a look that says "elegant travel" with a touch of "ready to sparkle". Imagine this: a pink peplum blouse with puff sleeves, teamed with a sleek black pencil skirt and some towering platform boots, topped off with a chic pink hat and a vintage handbag that screams "glamour." The perfect look for a girl on the go, wouldn’t you say?
When I arrive in Longton, I'm ditching the suitcase for my sequinned suitcase, ready to transform into my glittering persona, Pink Tutu Sparkles! And this is where the magic happens, because you can’t get much pinker than a pink tutu on stage! But I do love experimenting with my performance outfits. I recently bought a fabulous bright green sequins suit which I will add to my collection to shake things up a little. I just need to find some shoes in a complimentary shade!
Once I’ve performed, you know it’s all about hitting those lovely boutiques for a shopping spree, finding more treasures to add to my collection. What’s a fashion queen to do without her wardrobe? Of course, I'll be keeping you all updated on my fabulous finds with Insta-stories all day long. But trust me, it's a whole new level of "Pink Tutu Sparkles" that’s taking to the Potteries.
Longton is famous for its historic connections with the potteries and ceramics industry. You’ll be sure to see some gorgeous pink floral teacups in the many shops that line the high street, and for me, nothing goes better than a spot of afternoon tea and pink cupcakes after a hard day in the studio. This little town has something for everyone.
Speaking of shops, how could I possibly visit without finding the perfect pink tutu, maybe one that I've never seen before to add to my collection? Imagine a fluffy, pink tutu in a gorgeous shade of "bubblegum pink," complete with intricate embellishments and layers of tulle! Or maybe a shimmering one, the sequins reflecting like stars under the spotlight. Just thinking about it gets me giddy.
Before you go, let's chat about that big "Pink Tutu Revolution" thing, because that's my life mission. I want to see tutus all over, every street corner, everyone strutting their stuff!
