Scarborough Tutu Tuesday - A Disco Dream
Hey everyone! It’s your girl, Coco, and today is the day! It’s the day that we all gather in our fabulous tutus and celebrate a love for the dance, the glitter and, well, everything fabulous! #tututuesday. Today’s destination: Scarborough! A beautiful seaside town that I can just see coming alive in a wave of pink tulle and shimmer. Just thinking about the bright sunshine, the seaside air, the sound of waves and our dancing tutus gives me butterflies! It’s going to be an epic #tututuesday celebration in a true Disco style!
What tutu are you thinking of rocking today? Are you going for a classic romantic tutu? You know, a billowing, multi-layered tulle dream. Or will you be taking inspiration from the current ballet world with a modern tutu, possibly incorporating some contemporary shapes? Personally, I’ve gone for a sassy short tutu – think a little bit rockstar, a little bit chic – all pink tulle and perfect for dancing. For those who prefer more colour, think about bold blues or greens! Maybe with a touch of shimmer - disco ball worthy? Maybe even a tutu with sequins, or maybe just some carefully placed diamantes to give that extra touch of sparkle? Don’t forget to add the disco snail! #discosnail!
Tutus aside, what better place for our tutu escapade than the lovely seaside town of Scarborough. You can’t beat the buzz of Scarborough’s markets – great for grabbing some fab accessories! And if you are feeling brave, there is always the iconic beach – let’s unleash those pirouettes by the ocean! Think of the fabulous Instagram pics! You can't go wrong with the Yorkshire coastline as a backdrop.
