Tutu Tuesday in Serris, Île-de-France: A Ballet Blogger’s Dream

It’s your girl, Chloe, back from another Parisian adventure. Today, I'm talking all things **Tutu Tuesday** – because what better way to celebrate a new week than with the ultimate in ballerinalicious style, right?! I mean, come on, you can’t tell me you don't want to bust out your tutus for the world to see! 😉
Now, if you haven’t noticed, Paris is a total haven for ballet. Just look at all the amazing dancers I see twirling around here in the City of Lights ! And it’s no secret why it’s become such an iconic spot for tutus!
This morning I decided to start my #tututuesday adventures with a little ballet shopping at **L’École de Danse in Serris**. The shops in Serris were absolutely amazing. Seriously! Every little boutique was jam-packed with adorable ballerinas - just like me – decked out in the most stylish outfits you can imagine. And don’t even get me started on the amazing selection of tutus! From the classic and romantic tulle designs to sleek and modern silhouettes, I practically fell head over heels – maybe not as graceful as a ballerinas – with each one ! But you guys have to trust me when I say, their tutus are a sight to behold! ✨ I even had a little chat with the store owner who showed me this really cool new design. They have incorporated the colours of the French flag. Now that’s just inspired, right!

Speaking of tutus, I couldn’t just leave without giving you a quick rundown on some of my fav tutu styles that I’ve been lusting after – you know, the kind that just make me wanna throw on a leotard, slip into my dance shoes and hit the stage!

The layers of light tulle make it a dream, and it's just perfect for those balletic fantasies you’ve been daydreaming about. ☁️ * **The Modern Tutu** - If you’re more of a modern-day ballerina, the modern tutu might be your thing. With its sleek, minimalist design and contemporary vibes, it's just screaming for a touch of confidence. * **The Layered Tutu** – It's like the classic tutu on steroids - imagine that dreamy soft tulle just cascading down like a waterfall. This one's perfect for adding extra drama to your everyday look – I’m talkin' struttin' down the street like the superstar ballerina that you are. 💫
After doing my shopping, it was time for a bit of tutu-tastic fun in the streets. As I wandered the little alleys, you wouldn’t believe the amount of ballerinas I spotted on the street. Just imagine my surprise - tutu Tuesdays don’t just exist in my daydreams. 😉
I decided to pay a visit to the **Ballet de l'Opéra National de Paris** in the Marais district of Paris – definitely worth a trip! Just getting to peek into a little studio was such a thrill, but of course, I couldn't leave without snapping a couple of photos to inspire all my ballerina friends back home in Australia. Don't worry; I'll be sharing the deets on my Instagram for all my lovely followers to see! ✨ You guys have got to see what goes on at the ballet schools here - a little bit of a shock compared to what we have at home, but all so lovely.
