Vienna Waltz - Pink Tutu Adventures #136

Guten Tag, my dearest Pink Tutu Posse! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another exciting installment of my Vienna adventures! I'm writing to you from a little Viennese cafe, nestled in the heart of the city, with the most delicious strudel and the most adorable pink and white striped tablecloth - perfect for my pink tutu, don't you think?

This week has been a whirlwind of excitement! You know I love my trains, and my journey to Vienna from Derbyshire was a dream! I even had the chance to enjoy a charming ride in a horse-drawn carriage – oh, the romance!

Speaking of romance, Vienna is certainly the city of love! But my love, of course, is reserved for ballet, tutus, and all things pretty and pink! I've been absolutely immersed in the rich ballet heritage here, exploring the breathtaking State Opera House and Vienna’s iconic ballet history, even indulging in some delightful waltz lessons – how fabulous is that?!

I simply must tell you all about the ballet show I saw on Saturday! I know, you're probably thinking "Emma, you go to ballet shows almost every night!" And you're right! But this one was special. It was The Nutcracker, and the Vienna State Ballet put on a performance that had me captivated from the opening scene! The costumes were exquisite, the dancers so graceful, and the music... simply magical!

You know me, I always look for the perfect tutu outfit for each occasion. For The Nutcracker, I opted for a dazzling blush pink tutu, complete with sparkling embellishments – very Christmas-y, wouldn’t you say? And don't forget, darling, my pink ballerina flats - they were the perfect accompaniment to my dancing queen look. I received so many compliments, I think I may be inspiring a little pink tutu revolution!

Besides the ballet, of course, my favourite thing about Vienna has been the shopping! This city is a treasure trove for all things elegant and charming, with beautiful shops overflowing with gorgeous dresses, handbags, and, most importantly, accessories!

Imagine my delight when I discovered the most stunning collection of feather boas and headbands! It was love at first sight. Now I've got the perfect outfit for any event, and my wardrobe is officially overflowing with enough pink to make even a flamingo blush!

It's been a wonderful week of pink-tinted fun and, of course, dancing! I'm already looking forward to my next adventure. Maybe I’ll take a ballet class and see what I can learn from the Viennese dancers. There’s so much more to discover here, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

Don’t forget to check back next Wednesday for more Pink Tutu Vienna adventures. Until then, dance with joy and wear your pink with pride!

Love,

Emma www.pink-tutu.com
