Guten Tag, my darling dears!
Itās Wednesday, which means it's time for a new blog post! And this week, I'm waltzing through the beautiful streets of Vienna!
Oh, Vienna, Vienna! You are simply bewitching. From the majestic palaces to the charming cobblestone streets, you truly are a city that makes my heart skip a beat.
The journey here was magical, of course! It wouldn't be a true Pink Tutu adventure without a bit of romanticism, so I decided to ditch the modern trains and embrace the slower, more whimsical option ā travelling by horse-drawn carriage.
It was an absolute delight! The gentle clip-clop of hooves, the breeze ruffling my pink tulle, and the picturesque countryside scenery ā it felt like stepping out of a fairytale!
Now, as you know, Vienna is steeped in history, and it's brimming with historical ballet performances and museums that any tutu enthusiast could dream of. The Vienna State Opera House, with its majestic architecture, is a sight to behold! I dreamt of gliding across its stage, my pink tutu twirling like a feather in a hurricane.
I visited the Museum of the History of Art (Kunsthistorisches Museum), a treasure trove of artistic marvels. The opulent interiors, the breathtaking collections, and the whispers of history in every corner were simply mesmerising. It's easy to see why this place holds such historical and artistic significance, and you could feel the echoes of ballerinas from centuries past as I twirled through its galleries.
Speaking of history, Vienna is synonymous with the waltz! Imagine the excitement when I stumbled upon the Museum of the Waltz! Itās the most charming museum ever - filled with antique dancing shoes, elegant gowns, and beautiful music that just begs to be danced to.
Oh, and the shopping! My dears, the fashion here is so elegant! Think graceful silhouettes, delicate fabrics, and that oh-so-refined Parisian chic. The colour pink has also had its share of fame in Vienna, which really thrills me to the core! They say pink is the colour of royalty, and in a city filled with so much regal beauty, it feels right at home.
And did I mention the delicious pastries?! Imagine freshly baked, buttery, sugary perfection in a symphony of pink frosting, whipped cream, and delicate pastries. They're just as divine as a perfectly executed pirouette! I indulged, of course! My dears, I may be a dancer, but no one can resist a good pastry.
I'm currently at a traditional Viennese coffeehouse, sipping on a strong brew while indulging in some delightful schnitzel (with a side of fries, because let's face it, I'm a girl from Derbyshire, and sometimes we need a bit of good old-fashioned comfort food!).
And while I write this blog post, I am listening to the melodious sounds of Mozart, whose musical heritage seems to float through every street and every coffeehouse.
Tonight, Iām going to see the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra! I know, I'm truly living the high life in Vienna, surrounded by so much musical and artistic brilliance! A fabulous concert under the shimmering Vienna chandeliers is exactly what I need!
This weekend, Iām going to take a trip to the Schƶnbrunn Palace! It is simply breathtaking - a testament to the imperial splendour of Vienna. And, of course, the Schƶnbrunn Zoo is another stop on my list, especially with my new fondness for waltzing horses!

I am thrilled to share that Iāve been invited to perform at the beautiful Vienna State Opera House next week! It's a true dream come true.
While this opportunity was completely unexpected and a little daunting, I am absolutely buzzing! I shall be performing my signature piece, āA Waltz in Pink.ā It's a short but powerful piece that speaks of joy, love, and, of course, the enchanting power of pink.
I'll keep you posted about the performance ā perhaps with some behind-the-scenes snaps! And, Iām already thinking about which pink tutu Iāll wear!
