Hello darling dears,

Welcome back to the world of Pink Tutu Vienna! This week, I’m bringing you a whirlwind of delights straight from the heart of Vienna. This incredible city has stolen my heart, and trust me, my dear readers, it has definitely got more than a few fabulous outfits up its sleeve!

Now, for those of you who don't know, I'm Emma, your tutu-loving, pink-obsessed travel buddy from Derbyshire, England. My mission? To bring a bit of whimsical joy to every corner of the globe, and, of course, convince everyone to wear a pink tutu – because what could possibly be more magical?

This week, I arrived in Vienna, which was a journey in itself! I, of course, travelled by train, the best way to truly see the world and take in the stunning scenery. Imagine me, twirling down the train carriages, my pink tutu cascading behind me like a trail of candy floss, leaving a trail of pink shimmer wherever I went.

The arrival was breathtaking. The magnificent architecture of Vienna is truly inspiring. You see those grand buildings and feel an overwhelming sense of elegance and history, and a touch of that grand old-world glamour. My heart practically skipped a beat!

For a ballet-obsessed soul like me, Vienna is practically a dream come true. Vienna has a rich ballet heritage, with its glorious ballet houses and captivating stories from the past. From the incredible performances of the Vienna State Opera to the mesmerising dances at the Burgtheater, I felt an irresistible pull toward the stage.

Of course, I couldn’t miss a visit to the grand Vienna State Opera. As I stepped into the opulent foyer, I was transported to another era. Imagine sparkling chandeliers, grand staircases, and elegant crowds, all adorned in their finest attire. I felt like a fairytale princess!

The performance was spectacular! My dear readers, I was completely blown away by the grace and beauty of the dancers, their movements fluid and evocative. Tonight, the masterpiece of "Swan Lake" was danced by a truly magical ballerina, and I found myself entranced, mesmerized by the intricate choreography and stunning costumes. It was an evening I’ll cherish forever.

After my evening at the opera, my friend, who had come to see the show with me, suggested we wander through Vienna's shops to find the perfect outfit for my next ballet performance back in England. We hit the streets in style, a whirlwind of pink and a kaleidoscope of fashion inspiration.

As you know, darling dears, a ballet performance calls for a tutu to really take center stage. Vienna’s fashion boutiques, with their wide array of colors and textures, had me swooning with delight. I discovered the most stunning selection of fabrics, from delicate silks and chiffons to opulent satins and velvets, each whispering the perfect fabric for my next enchanting creation.

I can’t wait to get back to Derbyshire to start sewing! You just wait to see what sartorial wonder emerges from my studio, fueled by Vienna’s inspirational fashion finds.

Vienna has also been a beautiful source of ballet inspiration for me. From the waltzing couples in the park to the graceful steps of the street performers, I see ballet everywhere I go. There’s something truly enchanting about watching dancers move fluidly, bringing their passion to life in such an impromptu and captivating way.

Vienna is truly a city of culture, romance, and of course, the most incredible pink-tastic fashions.
