Hello my lovely tutu-twirling darlings! It's Emma here, your resident pink-tutu-clad adventurer, writing to you from the magical city of Vienna!
This week's journey has been nothing short of sensational. It's not easy to describe the feeling of waltzing through Vienna with the scent of spiced glühwein in the air, the Christmas markets twinkling with fairy lights, and the sound of Strauss waltzes filling the frosty air! 🎻🎄
Now, let's be honest, Vienna was made for pink tutus. It’s like they invented the city specifically to be the perfect backdrop for my fluffy, fabulous frocks. From the pastel-coloured Baroque palaces to the cobbled streets leading to the majestic opera house, every corner screams "tutu time!" 😉
Speaking of the opera house, my dear reader, you wouldn't believe the incredible show I saw last night! It was The Magic Flute at the Vienna State Opera, a true gem of the operatic world. Now, I'm not a musical expert, but the costumes were dazzling - and a certain feather-boa-clad, pink tutu-loving lady can always appreciate a fabulous fashion moment, no matter the genre! 😜
The city, though, isn't just about opera, my dears! This week has been filled with whimsical exploration - think horseback carriage rides through the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace gardens (complete with a little twirl for the camera!), a visit to the Schönbrunn Zoo to say hello to some charming elephants, and of course, an afternoon of shoe-shopping at the chic boutiques on Kärntner Straße! 🛍️
Did I mention the food? Oh my, the food! The schnitzel, the pastries, the rich coffee, the Viennese strudel… It's like a fairytale in every bite. (Just promise me you'll pace yourselves and indulge in lots of healthy tutu twirling to work off the deliciousness, my lovelies!). 🤸♀️
And the icing on the cake, or should I say the cream on the strudel? I took a private ballet class in the historic heart of Vienna! It's safe to say, I felt like I was pirouette-ing right out of a Mozart symphony! 💃🎶
Now, you're probably wondering how I managed to squeeze all of this fabulousness into a week. Well, you know me! When I set my mind to something, I'm in it to win it. Let's just say, a little pirouette or two on the stage during my evening ballet performance at a gorgeous theatre in Derbyshire certainly helps. 🩰💫 I'll admit, sometimes, a ballet show feels a bit more glamorous when you know that the money raised will help you fund the next amazing adventure!

- Vienna, you are truly a city for ballerinas. From the magnificent architecture and palaces to the elegance of the city’s music, you captivate and inspire!
- The importance of dreaming big: Anything is possible with passion and hard work. And of course, a well-fitting pink tutu!
