This week, darling readers, has been filled with enchanting ballet performances, dreamy historical museums, and a touch of festive magic, all whilst twirling about in my favourite pink tutu, of course. ?

The magic of a Viennese Waltz
This Wednesday, my lovelies, marks the return of my weekly Vienna blog, a ritual as beloved as a well-worn pointe shoe. Let’s dance our way into this week’s adventures, shall we?
This week has been a whirlwind of waltz steps, shimmering fabrics, and breathtaking architectural beauty, with a sprinkle of fairytale sprinkled on top. You see, December in Vienna isn't just about twinkling Christmas markets; it’s also about ballet!
Every December, the Vienna State Opera hosts a ballet extravaganza. It's like the culmination of all things graceful, artistic, and magical. And this year, oh this year, they performed my favourite - "The Sleeping Beauty".
The Pink Tutu-est 'Sleeping Beauty'
Now, "Sleeping Beauty" is like a fairytale specially tailored for pink tutu lovers. Imagine a princess who's been cursed by a jealous fairy, a handsome prince who comes to her rescue, and a magical forest with a grumpy yet loveable little beast? It's got it all, my dears!
Of course, I had to add a dash of pink to the spectacle! My pink tulle tutu twirled effortlessly beneath the chandeliers, matching the beautiful costumes onstage. It was a ballet that melted my heart, leaving me dreaming of dancing princes, enchanted forests, and the most beautiful pink dresses!

But darling readers, it wasn't just ballet that had my heart skipping a beat! I am so in love with Viennese style - a perfect blend of classic elegance and modern charm, much like the city itself! This city practically breathes fashion!
Just picture this: a cobblestone street, quaint cafes on every corner, and chic boutiques with stunning windows filled with the most breathtaking creations. One moment, you are strolling past a store with an elegant, minimalist display, the next you are admiring a vibrant shop full of vintage finds! The charm of Vienna really knows no bounds.
Vienna is an absolute paradise for finding exquisite pieces to complement my wardrobe - pink tulle tutus included, of course! The craftsmanship, the textures, the colour palettes, it is all utterly captivating. I swear, even the window displays of the shoe stores have a certain charm that I simply can't resist!
Of course, I can't forget to mention the delightful array of delicatessen shops scattered throughout the city. Their irresistible assortment of pastries, chocolate, and, of course, cakes are absolutely divine. Vienna is a sweet tooth's heaven!
An Enchanted Train Journey & a Fairytale Horse Carriage
Now, you wouldn't believe my journey to Vienna! As an avid lover of all things elegant, I knew the only way to arrive in Vienna was by train, like a journey through time. And what a journey it was! I nestled into a luxurious, comfy train carriage, the view of the countryside outside painting a beautiful masterpiece before my eyes. A magical escape straight from a fairytale!
I don’t know about you, darling readers, but for me, there is nothing more romantic than arriving at a beautiful, historic city like Vienna in a horse-drawn carriage. That was the first thing I did! With my pink tutu billowing gently in the breeze, I felt like a character in a romantic novel as I trotted through the charming streets, the carriage’s gentle rhythm adding a certain magic to the scene. It's a beautiful experience I shall cherish!
